By Denice Spratt apparently when I was a kid growing up in New Zealand more Kiwis ate marmite than vegemite well I don't understand why as vegemite is so great. As a kid one of favourite things in winter was an hot vegemite drink with some bread in it. Vegemite on toast with cheese melted over it yum! Vegemite and lettuce sandwiched are lovely or even add a slice of cheese. A spoonful of Vegemite in casseroles, stews or soups adds flavour. Vegemite is delicious and a rich source of vitamin B
By Richard Culley I just LOVE the bloody stuff and cant get eough of it so why oh why Kraft do you sell it here in the UK in such stupidly small jars? I want a frickin BIG bastard. So please you marketing numpties do some research and I'll bet you an ounce of Dingo shit to a pinch of moola you will find the jars will dissapear off the shelves quicker than a Bondi sheilas knickers.

'Best Before' dates (not to be confused with 'Use By' dates found on products such as fresh meat and fish) are simply a manufacturers guideline concerned to a products quality.
Often companies like Bluebird and Smiths stamp their products with short dates for commercial reasons rather then any accurate reflection of actual food quality.
We find most goods are perfectly good to eat for many months after.
